Good afternoon, guys!
In case some of you didn't know, me and technology don't normally coincide very well.
See, this image above is a perfect example of how I look trying to figure out anything technology related. That said, I’m not quite sure what was running through my head when taking upon the role as editor for our 2-minute film. To say the least, I was feeling VERY bold.
First let's discuss what devices we'll be using for the filming process. Considering that we are limited to the devices we can use we decided it would be best to film with our phones. Not to mention, we all have relatively new iPhones so the quality of the phone, especially the camera, is decently well. Additionally, using an unfamiliar device would be overly complicated especially for someone like me who struggles to grasp the concept of newer devices (which is pretty ironic considering I am a teenager and were usually considered to be “tech savvy”).
In terms of what I’ll be using to edit the scenes I’m familiar with how Cap cut works, and I feel as though I'll be able to navigate its features way easier. Although I've heard some good things about iMovie, so I’ll probably end up watching a YouTube video to help guide me if needed. I do, however, want to incorporate a variety of transitions and sound effects to exaggerate the scenes and make it appear as a true orchestrated production.
