Welcome back to Ruby’s Corner!
You may be wondering what’s up with the sudden name selection. Well.. lets just say I feel as though i’ve been with you guys for a while now, so it only makes sense to give our little community a name creating a safe environment for all viewers. That said lets dive into todays topic.. BOYS! And no, we’re not talking about the ones that have cooties, or the ones that break your heart in middle school, but the ones that are just abnormally disorganized. Unfortunately, my teammates “suffer” from that disease (and yes I call it a disease being it adversely affects my peers). Therefore, to keep us on track for our upcoming two-minute film production Ms. Ortiz sought it best that each group conducts a proper schedule that they would abide by for the following weeks. What a brilliant idea… right?! Well, yes of course it is. However my teammates thought it made sense to meet up three times a week and only to discuss our blogs (ridiculous idea right). I took it upon myself to redo the schedule that aims to target our blogs dates, filming dates, and the dates that we would conduct our CCR’S.

This schedule allows us to balance school life and any personal activities that we may have after school. Of course, we may not always directly be able to follow this schedule every day. However, we’ll be able to create a firm structure that’ll allow us to meet all deadlines regarding this film production. Some of you may be curious as to why we gave each person their own week in regards to the filming dates. This was purposefully done to allow everyone to conduct trial and errors before emailing me there video portions (alleviating the stress of editing all video pieces at once). Not to mention creates a fun environment where everyone can film peacefully and meet with any extra people (for the film) if necessary. Moreover, blog dates and CCR planning will be everyone’s weekly responsibility.
Overall, as someone who procrastinates to then spend hours stressing on my assignment, i’m glad we have these new and improved schedules that’ll lead us to the right path for our film production!
