You’re probably wondering why I'm so excited and welllll what can I say. Our edit film is finally complete! After many trials and errors with the camera, the lighting, and the horrid temperatures, it’s done at last.
My favorite part about this production isn’t even the actual film itself, it’s more so what went on behind closed doors which most people don't often see or realize. The beginning of the film has the news channel intro which creates the illusion of a news channel broadcast. This ultimately captivates the audiences attention and makes them want to see more. Additionally, the green screen is used to create urgency with the situation at hand being that people mostly correlate the news background with something of high alert and urgency. At the end I wasn’t planning on adding any additional pieces however, once I saw how much that short clip emotionally impacted me I knew it would be a vital piece that ties everything together. It also allows the audience to feel empathy for those who may struggle with online bullying and its effects on young teens. With that said, I plan on using this inspiring estate towards my 2-minute film!
